You upgrading cams too or trying to extract power with just cam gears?

I personally would not bother with aftermarket cam gears trying to gain peroformance on stock cams..... save your money.

well i am planning on getting toda As sometime next year, but i be getting my VAFC2 soon. so i am searching to see if i should get the cam gears now, or later with the As. (hope i make sense )

on the topic, do u need aftermarket cam gears for any aftermarket cam? or can u run it with a stocky gear?

you can run stockys, but with after market ones ( adjustable ) and a dyno you can gain more power, but it can be a win - loose situation, you could gain top end power and loose bottom end torque and vice versa.
