Hello,

will the cold air intake and filter from an EJ8 fit into a dc2R?

thanks!!

sorry this was also posted in the integra sub-forum but they dont seem to be smart enough to know the answer...

if the cold air intake is designed for an EJ/EK/EM, then it probably wont fit into a DC2.
(which is why the manufacturers make separate designs for EK and DC2 series)

but maybe with some mods it could work?

it should fit but you may need a larger adapter for a dc2 throttle body

probably not
have to remember, the dc abs modules usually cover the hole which most ek cai's use

ek cai = use the hole under the driver side headlight where the resonator would be
dc cai = bends forward towards the coolant overfill, down then bends into the space where the resonator would go

I just DIY cold air. Went and brought me a K & N and bunnings with some pipe. all done. power up and nice roar.

Can you show us a pic of the intake you have in mind?

The stock CAI is very different between these cars so I doubt it will.

short ram should fit on any.
but if it involves pipping each engine manifold has different shape with different bodies.
eg.
eg with k24 wont use a cl9 intake kit. since engine bay is different.

but to asnwer the question. ej8 to dc2.
no.
ej8 is a sohc engine and the pipe is just straight.
dc2 has a bend. as sum have said ^^^
filter probably will fit with a dc2 pipe.
