Hi guys,

Has anyone on the forum own one of this little gadget? It's techtom CMX100 H2 for Honda. Jazz/Fit is definitely included in the list of compatibility. Click here (http://www.techtom.co.jp/cmx100.html) for full description of the item(Japanese only).

summary of the functions are

SPd Vehicle speed (Km/h)
RPn Engine rpm (rpm)
IGt Ignition timing (deg)
UtP Engine water temperature (deg 'C)
ItP Inhalation air temperature (deg 'C)
PrS Absolute suction pipe pressure (mmHg)
DIG ダイアグ several cords/codes (maximum of 6)

The unit is plug directly onto the ODBII connector directly underneath your steering. Look closely and you will find a spare connector. Honda Service center use that connector to check for any error code from ECU.

The price is 20,900YEN and approx A$280(ex shipping) depending on exchange rate. I have contacted them via email(they do communicate in english but not very good). They accept credit card orders via fax only.

Does anyone here have any connection to get a discount? or may be organise a group buy if anyone is willing to help? I don't speak Jap so it's very hard to get discount from them. Feel free to discuss guys.

Cheers
Kim

Just remember, no official group buys....

That said, it looks pretty funky (I've seen it on a couple of Jap sites and always wondered what it was). I'd be up for it. Perhaps shoot Tanghy an email and see what he can do.

Nice find and welcome

Will keep that in mind.

The device itself is quite good because there will be no cutting or soldering at all. It's just plug and play. Rather than having multiple gauges running around and trying to find the right place to mount it is another question.

I will send an email to Tanghy tonight and see what he can do with it.

thats true but is there any wiring required for the vtec controller or does it plug into same socket?

tanghy

you have to pay for wiring for a vtec controller + tuning

muli

so you cant just plug in a vtec controller and let it shows you engine stats?

tanghy

you can't plug in a vtec contoller you have to wire it in

this looks slight better i reckon and it works on the accord according to autospeed i wonder if it would work on the jazz but only thing i dont like about it that there isnt pocketpc support only palm

http://www.auterraweb.com/

this is a bit cheaper but doesnt display as much info e.g 0-100km or 400m no idea if they would work on a jazz, its also got a kit if you want to made one yourself

I've got one of them in my other car. Didn't know it could do all that (came with the car)
It reads water temp for me and it flashes error codes as they happen. Never played round with it before.....might go have a fiddle with it...
