Hey guys. How do i get rid of the AIR BAG light in the cluster????? Its the red light. I was mucking around to see if I could change my bulbs in my dc5 s cluster to different colour or brighter, and so i took my cluster out. But i think its because i unplug the cluster when THE ACC was on. Then it happened.

Do i have to go back to honda for them to reset ECU or sumfin like that??? The air bag light wont go away.

Common causes of this are: broken power wore to the airbag, faulty crash sensor or related wiring, broken connection in the steering wheel. A scan of the safety restraint computer will give the tech a direction to go with diagnostics. This may be covered under the safety restraint warranty, ask your dealer.

Nope, didn't pull the steering wheel out. Thats the only thing i can think of. I pulled the plug out when the ACC (ignition) was on the "ON" position, and plugged it back in., Then the light came up. I pretty sure it nothing to do with air bag, just that i did sumfin wrong, and air bad light is up now.

It works,

We do it to EL_DC5's DC5 everytime we play with the cluster or steering wheel.

Also for a bit of reassurance this is what the service manual has to say on the matter:
