the pedal may get stuck on the carpet which isn't good when driving, it won't make the car faster, I think too much cable travel would begin to close the throttle body past a certain point if the, but the butterfly won't turn any further anyway.

ive taken it out for a thrashing last week and i dont notice any extra power when it goes past 5k rpms all the way up to 8k. it jus needle jus moves up smoothly. is something wrong?
You are probably talking about Vtec? Should be able to feel a transition at about 5800 which is one of the intake runners opening up allowing more air. Alot of people mistaken this for vtec. Vtec actually kicks in at 4400rpm, I can sometimes feel this. If you have a pod filter and full exhaust you should be able to hear a change in the engine note at about 5800rpm if you have a Vti-R integra

Sounds like your vtec fell off lol jks
Have you check your oil level? Low oil = low oil pressure, big cams won't engage.
Vtec solenoid could need replacing
What level does your temp gauge run at? If your thermostat is dying it won't let the car warm up and vtec may not engage.

hey ill check the oil later then post it up... the temp usually starts like below the c when you start and when its warmed up it is a bit below half way.

ahk that gud i guess cause i didnt think it should start below the c...
anyways there another slight problem when i shift, it only happens once in a while but it is very annoying. sometimes when i shift back to first gear it doesnt fully engage and gets stuck in the middle of neuteral and first, i dont realise this and i take off and it fuks up and i have to fully stop and put it in first again. this only happed at the start now that im aware of this i always double check and sometimes i have to change to neuteural and to first a couple times befor the gear fully goes in.
hope dat makes sence

Could be one of two things,
1) When revved in first and shifted (heavy handed) into second but missed and hence grinding, I've known it to bend the gear selector fork which makes it hard to get in and out of first gear, regardless of if the engine is on or off, moving or stationary. Easiest way to explain is that the gears feel slightly left of centre. I have a heavy handed approach to fix this and I'll tell you if you really think this is the case.
2) Your clutch is hydraulic and may be low on fluid, check for leak at either clutch master or slave cylinders, and top up if needed to temporarily fix.

yer im not sure but the thing is it doesnt happen very often. and to explain it further when its between neuteual and first and i take off it moves forward abit then i notice its not engaging so i put the clutch in and have to fully stop the car then put it back in first... if i dont stop the car the gear wont go in..
and what should the 0-100 time be on my car?

factory claim is 7.4 sec but it can be closer to 7.

hey can you tell me how to fix this using method one. the gears are a bit worse now sometimes the shifter doesnt go from 2nd to 3rd smoothly noww and 4th to 5th.

Ok this is unconventional but for me when I believed I bent my selector fork on two occasions I did this.
Whether or not engine is on doesn't matter, put gearshift in neutral, you can freely move the gearshift left and right. I basically with a ham-fisted or heavy hand approach push to the right several times, like slamming the shifter to the right. After doing this the gearbox returned to normal bit by bit over the next few drives.
