Recently bought a 88 CRX, turning it into a project. At the momment im preparing the car to get painted. I will upload my progress as i go.

At the momment the colours silver and i am wanting to paint it some sort of black possibly Mica Black or Jet Black not to sure if im going to have any sort of pearl mixed in with it yet. Not going to worry to much about that at the momment seeing as though the preperation to get the car to that stage is going to be a journey.

The engine thats in it at the momment is a D16Y8 after finishing the paint on the car im hoping to possibly put a different engine in it preferably a VTEC, Maybe a B16A2 or B18C-R just depending on how my finances are at the time and who is reliable enough and has enough knowledge to do the conversion.

But for now just concentrating on getting a nice finish which means the preparation beforehand needs to be done correctly.

you sure its d16y8 in your car? audm model only came with d16a8's but then again by looking at your bonnet looks like an import.
