stampy duty question

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy a 05 CVT which comes with leather options for $14.7K and I was wondering is it risky to put a lower purchase value on the transfer form i.e. 11-12g in order to save some money on the stamp duty and would the insurance be pesty about it when it comes to do a insurance claim?

Personally I never alter vehicle value to benefit my wallet, I play by the rules but that's just me.

Insurance companies will try anything to get out of a claim nowadays.

i wouldnt risk it man, they are gonna realise if its been greatly undermarked, just pay the extra couple hundred. its just one of those things in life
