Car wont start, Dizzy is fine: HELP

My DC2 wont start & for some reason there is no spark coming out of the dizzy cap, i took it off & checked the coil inside and it had Power, BUT no power came out of the dizzy cap -.- Thinking it was blown, i got the whole dizzy & cap checked out and nothing seemed to be wrong with it coz they tested it & worked fine.

I tryd a mates B18C & B16A Distributor and none of them Sparked power to the Cap, took the cap off and tested the coil inside with Voltmeter & that had power BUT again no power coming out of the Distributor cap :S

Any help?

they tested the cap on another car? not the whole dizzy right?

the dizzy cap might be fine.

but the diistributor may of shit itself.

my mate had the same problem.. was the dizzy. est1989.. i think also a common problem in dc2/b18c

umz... i even tryd a b16a dizzy that worked & didnt work on my car :S

lol must be something before the dizzy..
engine light?

aowllan's car didnt start neither.. thought it was the dizzy but ended up to be his ecu shitting itself.. ek4/b16a2 though.. just a thought.

yeah no spark comes outta the dizzy cap at all but theres power coming out of the coil though:
(small spring that comes out of the dizzy when the cap is off )
at this point , got no clue :'(

Idea anyone ???

do you have an immboliser? maybe something played up and wont let your engine run spark

I'm just gonna throw this out.

what about ur fuel pump? do you hear the sound of the pump when u put it to IGN?

Where are you testing for spark coming from the distributor? At the cap itself or at the end of an ignition lead? Have you checked lead resistance??? Just a thought...

that fuel pump sound...should you let it finish first before starting the car?
also if it doesn't make the noise one day then the car won't start right?

Bridged the ECU and it started.

usually car will struggle abit if its not finished yet (engine cold). yep, no noise means its not working, so the car won't start.
