ive searching around in the formus and some people have mentioned an intake resonator that muffles induction noise. can anybody show me where this is in an ek civic and how to take it out? thanks

should be behind front bumper...on my EG it's a quite big white plastic bottlish thing...should be the same with EKs...

pulled it out guys. sounds awesome. i cut the pipe and left it bhind the bumper for cold air aswell. it sounds great and i reckon it goes a bit harder aswell

if you can remove the second silencer (plastic bit between the airbox and the intake pipe), that will be even better. usually people replace it with Spoon's kevlar unit.

i did this to my teg aswell and it's heaps better.
really worthwhile and cheap(free!) mod

theres another small resonator up top closer to the intake. should i take this one out too and plug it up? ive read in some other threads that this one should be left on?
