Hey guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit 15 or 17" wheels on a civic sedan, 2000 model?

At the moment my wheel size is 14" and will need to be changed soon with new tyres.

Thanks.

if you don't lower it and put 17" wheels on it does it look good still, like as if it was lowered? I want to get the edge of the wheels close to the body lol.

you will need to lower it as the tyres still have the same rollin diamiter

all depends on wot you would like to achieve as you could just put in lowered spring or you could up date your suspention with a full kit for ex tein

oh and most important it comes down to your budget

I have 97 Civic sedan wth 19", superlow king spring, rear guard rolled.
There isnt much room .. and slight rubbing, but ok for daily drive.

AFAIK, If you want to stay 100% legal, then 16" 205/45 is the practical limit.

You'd have to really have annoyed Mr Officer to get done for 17" though. They're everywhere.

This is when you start pushing legal limits in respect to change in vehicle track.

Also, I find low profile tyres make our vehicles tramline a fair bit, which is a consideration if ur gf or mum is gonna drive.

17's do look good, though.

Nick.

if you get a full thrust alignment done and your camber castors set correctly this is never an issue as i had the problem with my and others all was needed was a thrust alignment this is the best way to sort it out for good

Nearly everything is illegal. I didn't mean crazy offset rims, just something that'll fill out the guards abit. Chances are it's hard to pick up, unless it sticks say 4cm outside the guards
