Hi all, just bought a pair of OEM AP2 exhaust tips for my RB1, I thought it would be an easy installation as I saw alot of RB1 in Japanese magazines using the AP2 exhaust tip, but I didn't realize that it needed to be modified, only the Absolute version is an easy bolt off and bolt on installation, can somebody tell me if there is someone in Melbourne that can help and do a fantastic job?

Here are the sites that I saw:

got the tip from a honda parts dealer, basically any honda parts dealer can get them in...

its not easy to do it by using the the original bolt since the AP2 tip its very big and the odyssey muffler is very skinny and facing down a lil bit, but I did mine before with my NSX tip fit OK, see pic below

but I guess any muffler shops should be able to do it for you for only around $50,

not a direct bolt on DIY as diameter of exhaust difference btw S2K and our Ody. i haven't done the installation yet as just received the tips but can give u some hints.
do u have rear lip/kit on yr Ody? if nothing, the tip will be stuck out of the rear bumper for abt 2cm. need to cut out abt 2cm in the front if you want the flush looking.
in order to solve the diameter issue, u need to modify the inside of the S2K tips by reducing overall diameter or increase the diameter of yr exhaust. aluminum tape or some stainless steel u-shape pipe/conduit brackets fm Bunnings may be a good choice.

have 3 different DIY procedures fm Japanese website can give u an option for fitting. pm me yr email address and i can send them to u.

btw, u must paid a lot for picking up S2K tips fm Honda dealers. they asked $175 each last time i check. to be honest, i found (after purchased S2K ones) the tips fm Legend have better fitment (length and contour) without rear lip/kit on.

tks frekila. without rear lip, i have only one choice by cutting abt 2cm fm the back then push up the original bracket welded to exhaust for lining up the tips horizontally

doesn't matter its standard or luxury, it comes with small tip unless been changed. OEM tips look like as pic below for easy comparison
