I don't think they have brembos

EuroR is like a dc5R spec in a different shell. Looks fkn awesome!! it looks stylish & sporty. One of my favorite car in all time.

CL7 can also mean base model 2.0L Euro, with only 118kW. hahaha.

Difference between EuroR and CL9 is:
Power: EuroR has 162kW, CL9 has 140-147kw depending on country.
EuroR has shorter gear ratios and LSD.
EuroR has Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, metal pedals, metal knob, red instruments and no chrome around the windows and grill.
EuroR has 215/45 R17 tyres.

i always thought it was kind of stupid to lets say try and upgrade an integra to a type r variant, but here i am with a euro trying to get it 2 type r spec, is it worth it? does the k24a3 have enough potential? the thing i like about lets say the dc5c is that when your not using the power its very economical, is there a way to mod my engine in such a way that i have power when i want to use it?

lol not hijacking just discussing the feasibility of importing a car or up spec'ing.

Would that mean the EuroR is more efficient because its 2.0? Or is it smaller, but working harder?

yes it is.

no it's not :p

euroR = 1390kg which is actually heavier than the quoted kerb weight for a standard 03-05 CL9.

Why not just buy an 06 euro sport? You get the euroR kit and with a few engine modifcations you'll be making just as much power as the euroR's k20 (but with more torque)

My 04 CL9 base model has a kerb weight of 1390kg.

Seems as though I was looking at the tare weight (kerb weight minus fluids?)

check out a PDF version of the original brochure for the 03-05

Yeah, the Japanese never intended the EuroR to be a real Type R. Hence it doesn't have thinner windscreen, additional spot welding or extra bracing like the DC2R and DC5R. That's also a reason why the EuroR came standard with climate control and a CD player.

Now Honda UK on the other hand... they love to "Type R this" and "Type R that". Makes good brand marketing. Hence they had the Accord Type R and now the FN2R.

Hi, if you want to import a EURO R from oversea. I would prefer to import the Mugen RR. Light weigth modified and Mugen tuned engine from Type R. And you will have the UNI car in Australia also can sell it very good price after you left the country.

EURO R, not worthy to doing that. If you don't need a medium size car for your family. go for Mugen RR.

just a suggestion. :D

I'm sure you still can get your hand on Mugen RR from Japanese Importer. I have seen Mugen RR with my own eyes in one of the importer store recently in Indonesia but yet again it's bloody expensive here cost around 100k Aud. Twice the price of FD2, so much for extra 15 hp. I think it will cost more than Aud 60k to arrive in OZ
