Looks sweet.

However I would have just tinted the inner lights (the ones attached to the boot) to keep it legal. Its a requirement to have red at the rear when the brake lights are not on.

or go to the auto places. super cheap. repco. or autobarn. i think autobarn has em. cause i havent been able to find any in repco and supercheap.

its just simply applying layers of it to the tail light or headlight with even sprays.
the more layers the darker.
i got mine from the UK for 35 incl postage.
did my eg and still have 1/2 can left.

Materials:
i can of tint spray. (i bought it at autobarn for 12 bux)
clear coat (optional)
masking materials ie. masking tape. paper pastic sheets etc.
clean cloth
some windex

Steps:
1. carefully clean the lighs with windex then wipe it dry, make sure theres nothing on the lights before spraying.

2. mask all the areas that you dnt want to spray. its recommended that you mask out as much as u can cause u wouldnt want the spray to go onto your paint.

3. shake the can evenly for 1min then in even strokes spray across the lights. wait 3mins for it to dry before applying another coat.

and as for how many coats. well its up to you.

lol i was paranoid too before i started. but yeah if oneside is darker then spray it more. but its advised to let each coat dry first to see if its even or not. and u should do it in a place with even light so u dont get confuse.

and it doesnt matter which way u spray it. just apply the same technique for the other side.

i had tint vinyls on the rear, they are way darker than spray. unless you coat it heaps.

anyhow, with vinyl, you should use a hairdryer to warm them up and squiggy it on, as i learnt from my mistake after coming home from work/uni at about 7-8pm and trying to attempt it.

autobarn is pretty much out of sprays i got the last one from arncliffe and auburn didn't have any and didn't know when they are getting it.
try repco and ask for Nightshade (brakelight tint).

Yeah there is. Go on ebay theres always some for the TSX. Its cut to shape as well so its a perfect fit. Problem is getting it to fit nicely lol

I dont think i want to tint the rear lights. Im thinking about removing the amber off the front headlights for a cleaner look. Will see what i can do. Any ideas? (little off topic :p)

Darkness looks fine but you really do need to put a decent quality gloss clear coat over the top. Looks cheap and tacky as it is. Once you hit it with some clear coating and give that a polish so it's as shiny as factory then it will look good.

To remove spray-on tint from plastic lenses what you want to do is WET SAND. I would strongly advise against using any chemicals to attempt removing it, you are very likely to ruin the plastic.

Gently wet sanding with a very fine paper soaked for at least a few hours (1500/1200/2000 grit - try the least abrasive first) and then polishing the plastic will restore it.

True. Plus there is the problem with Insurance. If someone runs into the back of you, they can say that they didn't see red on the rear of your car (especially if its rainy or foggy weather), voiding your insurance claim.

Braxta has vinyl sticker which blacks out the sides but leave the bulb sections visible.

i just want springs for now until i get some more moeny. oh when to a pedders yesterday and they said my subframe was out of allignment so i went to a chassic specialist place in epping and they said its just my control arm. apparently its 20cm off or something. so im going to get it fixed roughly around next week. yay finally i can lower my car.

What did you get quoted on? how much are you lowering the front and the rear?

i want to get the gas shocks that go up and down for the rear, and lower it an inch at the front casue i cant go lowerother wise my wheel hits the body of the car, casue i have bigger rims they stick out of the car:thumbdwn:

nar my cusin rekons he got gas shocks that go up and down, they arnt the same as air bags, all he needed was a air compressor, and its only for the back wheels, and he rekons he paid 500 for his clubsport and did it him self

they said lowering with kingsprings is about 300-350 with labour. and as for my control arms i got quoted 450 with labour. so yeah but i agree with Crapdaz. cause if ur gunna go low might as well go all the way ;] but does it really cost 5.5 for air runners. i thought i was only 4.5
