Gear Box ????

Hey ppl I have the D16A8 Si civic and am wondering is there a nother gear box that i can bolt on to the engine with a closer gear ratio then what i has come with? so i can gain more out off my car? cos the syncros are gone in mine and need to change clutch and thrust bearing so looking for options while box i out.

Have a look at http://zcspeed.com/ZC_Sihybrid.pdf note that a CRX Si in the US has a D16A6 engine in it which is different to your D16A8 which is essentially a DOHC ZC engine (and the gearboxes are different). This (http://home.cinci.rr.com/mistab0ne/tranny.html) might help as well, just remember a CRX/Civic Si in the US is different to an AUDM one with a D16A8/ZC engine and transmission. You can get D series aftermarket final drives as well, just work out what gears and final drive you currently have and what you want (may require some research, this (http://www.thezcr.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1985&d=1138326085) might help).
