hi. i just purchased a full size radiator for Dc2R but the standard radiator cap wont fit. what kind of cap do i need to get? ie: 1.1 1.3?
also what kind of fans do i need to run the radiator as im not running the stock fans as they are too big.
how long will my car last without the fans?
tony
slim fans might be needed
you need spoon type F or buddyclub

1) The Spoon cap I used didn't fit.
I am using a Cusco cap on my Koyo.
2) I am using a 10" thin Fan
3) Car will spontaniously combust in approx 2.8 weeks using no fan.

don't drive without a fan. you'll over heat in stop/start traffic pretty quickly.

The one I tried probs wasn't a Type F one. ISMR trial fitted them.
The BuddyClub one didn't fit either. Cusco was the only one that fit.
Then again, I don't think my radiator was for DC2R (if that makes a difference to what Caps fit?), as none of the holes lined up, and we had to make brackets everywhere to fit the thing.

The wiring is the easy part... fitting the fan to the radiator securely is a pain.
