Someone mentioned that on an EG, it's relatively hard to get 205/40/16 which I think (?) is the perfect size for daily driver EG??

Is this true?

I'd like to stick with Toyo T1R's which I've previously had.

If tyres are to hard I'll stick to 205/50/15 and just get 15's. (Or is it 205/55/15??)

Check out this site - compare a 16" wheel/tyre combo to your stock size

Well imo most Hondas on 16" run well with 205/45/16. This the closest size you'll get to stock tyres of 195/55/15 such as EKs and DC2s. I'd reckon the EG would be similar... so yeah, i'd go 205/45/16. It's a very common tyre size too.

Naa, I'm sure the EG has a smaller rolling diamater than DC2/EK.

I think EG has 175/60/14, so running 205/45/16 would mean I'm running 5% slower (speedo says 60, I'll be doing 64). 205/40/16 would be perfect at 0.5% slower (speedo says 60 I'll be doing 60.5).

175/60/14 matches 205/45/15 perfectly. Is this what everyone runs for 15's on the EG's?
