Just wondering what should an EG Si run to 100Km/h ?

Has anyone got any reliable times or what it should run in stock form?

Thanks

i think it'll be a bit slower than a AE92 GTi Corolla.
although the GTi Corolla does it around the 9 sec mark....
Si Civic prob be between low to mid 9s. STOCK

lol pooR geo.. flame left right n centre..
6.5!! WATA BS KANT!

jkjk =)... i used a g-tech and got something like 7.5 without a proper launch n shit.. i think its really hard to get an acurate reading, due to condition of tires, the road, incline of the road, weather conditions etc etc...

God damn - why the hell did I get a B16A powered car that will do mid 7s to 100 (quoted by Honda and timed) when I could have got an EG with a motor 30bhp down that could do 6s with IHE.

Geez did I get ripped... or not.

ROFLCOPTER @ 6.5 :D

haha thats so funny
your car is as fast as an rx8 !! 6.5 secs !!! lol
im guessing theyd do around the 9 sec mark.. r they faster then vti's ?? coz i can beat them fairly easily and my teg does around the 8.8 mark..

it all depends on the person timing, the launch.. and every lil other thing...............
coz i got my friend to time me.. with my fone.. and i got 8.6 for first run. and 8.9 for second run in my stock VTI..

On a flat road with one person in the car and an average launch I've pulled 8.9 im the Si. Will launch again with nobody and give you my best time (this is with a g-tech)

7.9 on 30psi at a 3.5K launch. Will try 4K next time as I wasn't struggling for grip.

are SI times similar to VTI times? i'm guessing similar engine power, similar times?

Si and vti are the same peak power (96kw)...0-100 times should be quite similar.

But it seems to be a known fact - a stock Si vs a stock vti ...Si is the winner by quite abit ?!? Who knows what times ?!?

I reckon the Si will be quicker in the 0-100 time......but hey who know!

If anyone has a vti and wants to measure there 0-100 time around sydney.....PM me :)

Official times found in an old US car magazine:

1992 Honda Civic Si Hatchback 0-60 mph 8.3 Quarter mile 16.3

Makes Sense when the official time of a B16A CRX del sol is 7.2 secs 0-100km/h.

Cheers.

My 94 GLI sedan with only a pod filter does low 10second 0-100. And its 340k kms old. So I'd say you'd be looking at 8-9something.
