Hello guys, Sorry for the noob noob Q's

Had my stock springs taken out the other day in my EK sedan. plannin to put them back in but forget what pair was the front n rear.
both pair is almost same length but one is thicker than the other.

Lemme know if the the thicker one goes in the front or back.

Thanks

hmmm conflicting answers

Well i'm gonna stick with my original thought and go with the thicker one in the front.

Thanks for all the replies, i should have paid closer attention when it was being taken off hah.

they should only fit one way.
try each spring on a strut and one pair should fit 100percent.
the bottom seat of the strut should be different for front n rear.

guys...the car in question (EK) - the front springs are always longer and mostly thicker too.

The front and rear springs CAN be swapped , they are the same dimensions...so dont mix em up !

you ar right that the spring seat looks different front n rear , but the spring (both aftermarket and OEM) sits very similar.

afaik front spring rates in our cars are usually higher than the rear hence the fatter springs at the front

i've got 3 sets of springs here.. ek4, dc2r and eibach sportlines
all of the front springs on them are fatter than the rears

Cool, thanks for clearing that up for me
Putting them back on first thing in the morning.

Thicker ones in the front and skinnier ones in the back.
