We don't even get dual climate in the current model for GOD SAKES!!!!!! :'(
Gawd I sometimes HATE Honda Australia...... i wish we get everything the JDM model gets.........

Its kinda like Grand Theft Auto 4 on PS3 , the Aussie version has some things taken out, this car won't be any different.......

sorry, getting emotional, big odyssey RB1 enthusiast.....

have u installed the S2K exhaust tips yet? any hints for me?
i'm not happy with RB1's engine performance either, hv u ever think abt stuffs fm Comptech USA or HKS Japan...............

frekila

No, haven't put on the S2K tips yet, i figured i have them put with everything else when they arrive, hopefully by the beginning of OCT i have everything done, Wheels, Adjustable camber arms, Tips :)

I have thought about HKS bolt on turbos but than again its not very honda :P (NA is Best :) )

BTW is it just me or does the new odyssey have a higher roof height ? because it does look as sleek as the current model

From what I have heard, at lower revs, our model and the Absolute model is the same sluggish machine, only when it goes past the 6000 rpm mark on third gear than you can feel the 40 extra hp.

Was advised not to waste $ on the turbo kit, little gains with large $ spent, also the kit is designed for the Absolute engine, so dunno if it will F#$k up our engine.
Comptech on the other hand .... hmmmmm

AusAccord

believe the HKS design for 160hp engine on RB1 not 200hp. won't fxxk up the engine if properly installed as there is a case in beijing but must admit its a lot of money, effort and tuning to obtain optimum power. on the other hand, comptech is a direct bolt on or engine swap is another option.

for me, 160hp is enough at this stage and not bad after rev past 4k. lets see what happen if i have a chance put it on track. honestly, really like the comptech sc to improve low end torque which is a 1.8 tonnes odyssey needs

Aus, the kit is this one right?

It says for Absolute model.

its really a case in beijing installed this HKS kit to left hand drive 160hp odyssey.

Don't think its the turbo kit that makes it messy. Its those red cables which I have no idea what they are(I'm thinking voltage stabalizer????). They don't seem to come from the kit.

Yea, what are those red cables? seems to me this guy has got ICE, hence the cables

AusAccord

as Evo said, its voltage stabilizer and grounding cables connected to engine head, alternator, intake manifold, etc......

Has anyone given feedback to :honda: Honda Australia?

I'm disappointed at the new Jazz we got here. The Fit JDM is simply the bomb.

Has anyone thought about importing the Honda Freed? Not quite the Jazz, not quite the Odyssey. Surely it can be imported.

A number of things, it's pretty much the same JDM versus Aus spec argument. Check out the Jazz forum and there a compliments as well as complains about the new Jazz. If I were to say any more it would be OT.
