side door mouldings

hey guys, has anyone taken there side door mouldings off? got a vtir and im thinking of taking them off, mine are colour-coded same as the car.... are they just stuck on with adhesive or are the riveted in? thanks

When you take off the side mouldings, it actually leaves holes along the panels on which it clips onto.
You're gonna have to either weld up those holes, or fiber glass it over and then bog it to make it smooth again.

Pretty big job to be doing on ur own (unless you have all the tools and skill to do this).
Respray of the doors and the rear 1/4 panels are a must.
