Hi Guys,

Looking to get the gloss black / diamond black Te37 in 19" for my nighthawk black 2005 lux euro, or do you think 18" would be big enough?

I have no clue about offset etc. just wondering what you would recommend for my 2005 euro? I'll be looking for a suspension package in the future to lower the ride height and for greater handling so just wish to factor that in too.

Any recommendations?

definitely not the offset on the photos, most Euro with 9" wide it should be not less than +40, but maybe I'm wrong other Euro owner might know better

most euro's i know are at 8.5" not 9"
and they normally run 235/35 or 30 tyres.

18" or 19" depends on what your looking for. if you go above 18 then your more likely to be going for looks and sacrifice performance.
+40 or above to +55.
stud pattern 5x114.3
lugnuts if your getting them pattern M12x1.5
lugnut suitability depends on the wheels (acorn shape *stock lug shape* or tapered)

This has been pretty much covered in other threads but that's a heads up.
Use search function about offset,wheelnuts.

I'd definately go 19x8 +43 for those rays TE37's.

19" will look better but the price in tyres from 18 > 19 is a big jump.

offset, anywhere between +40 to +55. stock is +55.

as said b4, widest i'll go would be 8.5". 9", u may encounter some problems when lowering.

and IMO matt black > gloss black

TE37's only come in +43 offset in 19x8.5 and 19x8 as I mentioned (suitable for Honda).

In the 18" size, you can get +40 or +48 in 7.5" wide.

My set of rims are 20x8.5 and i might be getting them fitted tomorrow, so if il do il let yas know if 8.5 wide tyres fit without any problems on euros :D

i was just saying for the offset to be anywhere between +40 to +55 is fine.

i have 18" x 7.5" +40offset with 225 tyres... decent set of rubber cost approx $300 a tyre... if you go 19" x 9" start looking at $600 per tyre for good stuff

Say, with specs like those, wat would be a better tyre size choice: 235/35/19 or 225/35/19?

235/35/19

as 225/35 might be too close to your rim so you are more prone to gutter rashes.

Yeah, I'd go 235's on 8" rim too.

btw, The CU2 has bigger rolling diameter stock than the CL9.
225/45R17 CL9 vs 225/50R17 CU2. I believe the CL9 TSX has the 50 profile tyres stock too.
This helps stop 'tramlining' that some people experience.
SPQR did this on his CL9 and handling improved for him.

By going 235/35R19's you will be somewhere in between.
