Is the difference between JDM and AUDM cats in the length only ? or the flange as well...? My cat seems to have a bell shaped flange joining up to the header.. while the other side that joins to the catback is totally flat and flushed...

Thanks DA9B18C... hope they +rep u for this.. :)

299mm flange to flange on our jdm cat.

flanges 2.5" instead of 2.25", and of course bigger donut gasket to go with it.

alright guys... looks like the only sure way of finding out is for me to fit a JDM header... getting one tml.. and hopefully it fits... (if not metal cat + flange for me...) argz....

my flanges( flat on catback end.. and bell mouthed on the other) looks exactly like EG30's... but i got a feeling that its much smaller in diameter...
Just curious DA9B18C how did u know u had a JDM cat ? Did u manage to fit JDM headers on it ?

bought ours from Toda during last year's headers groupbuy, it's an xforce metal high flow cat trimmed to JDM length with JDM s/steel flanges TIG Welded on.

Yours prob an OE ceramic core cat from jdm spec ITR thus has the oe heatshield around the cat body and steel flanges.

u said here its a JDM cat, then u said its Xforce with JDM flanges??????

so which one is it???????????

i believe the latter statement "xforce cat+JDM flanges"

I meant JDM spec cat ie bits put together to same mounting dimensions as per JDM oe cat on jdm dc2r.

So in summary.... The defining features of a JDM "spec" Cat... would be ..

1) Shorter than AUDM cat (exact measurements ? Are all JDM cats of same length..?)
2) 2.5 flange
