ITR gearset/fd/lsd into Cable box

had anyone done this before and can this be done?

i pull apart my y1 gearbox for rebuild and i am just thinking of putting all the type r gear set into it....as i have a spare type r box...

Apparantly you can use the LS integra B16a box, the internals of the type R box will straight fit

i am pretty sure the y1 cant accept dc2r internals

the ys1 off the xsi can though
but that is not a bolt in to an EF8/9 needs a custom mount i believe

the ys1's can also accept ek9 lsd's etc..

some people say y1 is an inbetween box between the d's and hydro b's
and because they were only use on on the ef8/9 for around 2 years, they are a bitch to get parts for

I thought it should, by swapping the gear sets and grinding/notching the bell housing.
