The new Euro is going really well however some things have cropped up and looking for advice.

1. The car was delivered with two scratches in the black fake wood trim panel (the one around the auto gear lever). How hard is this to be replaced as I will be pushing for warranty claim. However if it is hard to replace and it can not be refitted perfectly I may wish to leave as is. What do you think.

2. The sun visor is very loose such that when I have it to block the sun from the side it moves and hits me in the head when I go around a corner. Seems both sides are loose. It this a problem with these cars. Any easy fix ?

Thanks .

lol at sun visor

1) you should have no problems with warranty claim if you identified scratches on pick up, it is possible that dealer may dispute if your claim is logged after pickup.

i hope they dont make a fuss, and i normally would have thought something so minor would have been trivial for dealers to fix but recent experiences have changed my opinions.

2) i see no reason why dealer would not fix this under warranty, as far as im concerned in the cl9 this is not normal.

The trim around the gearstick is easy to replace. So try to get it covered under warranty if the trim came scratched when you picked the car up from the dealer.

How hard are you cornering the car? :p

I have had my gear stick replaced as it had a large scratch on it when I picked it up. Also the cover to the drinks holder had a number of scratches it was also replaced. It was done by all accounts by the monkeys that installed my Bluetooth at Honda...

probably wouldnt even have to get them replaced mate, u can get scratch filler off the dealer (probably for free) and you honestly cant tell the difference, i watched a techy do this to a scratch on a jazz the other day, i could not believe how awsome it was! if not, see if u can get it replaced

visor probably just needs tightening, take it in for your first service and get them to fix it

My sunvisor is also loose & I will be getting the dealer to fix at the next service. Other than that no problems.

Did you bring up the scratches with the Dealer when you picked up the car?

I had the same probs with my interior trim due to installation of the blue interior lights. Took it back at the first service and they have reorder the parts and replace the lot for me..No time frame on it though.
