Hey guys,

I'm new to the whole car thing. I was just wondering what do I need to know when buying a DC5R and just any little tips you guys have to give me?

What should I do when looking at a DC5R and where to get the car checked up with?

Thanks gents

look out for a search button...

Been covered a fair bit champ...

generally look for paint and panel descrpencies to determine panel damage... gearbox should shift smooth without crunching, and check service history...

check the recaros.. ( the seats) if they are badly worn.. or ugly or even fukd... u can tell that the car has gone thru serious thrashing

panel/body damage, gearbox shifting is smooth, tyres arent worn out or is decent.
visually scan engine bay is clean and isn't faulty or dodgy jobs done to it.

Shake the engine in the engine bay, if it swivels a lot, engine mounts prob broke or in poor condition, and says that its been launched a lot?

there is a common issue with second gear crunching. check to ensure that its not so bad.
