My HID lights came with a silver half pipe around the globe. i was wondering if i should remove it or not. i bought 8000k H4 globes hi/low. it doesnt look as bright as i thought it would be or as blue.

If i remember correctly, the silver half pipe that you're talking about is meant to block a certain beam of light being reflected out.

i.e. reduces glare...

So you probably don't want to remove it.
