Changing Globes

Hey guys. My friend just gave me some h4(hi/lo) i'm just wondering how i install them? i heard its easy just never done them before and i've searched and coudn't find anything.just dont want to screw anything up

headlight unit has a plug for the headlights, locate it unscrew it [the actual plug just twist it to loosen] take out old one [do not touch the glass] and insert new one [do not touch the glass] place back in test it.. done

EK1, dont need to unscrew anything, there is a metal clip that works like a baby pin that holds the globe in. take off the rubber at the back and then unclip and the globe just comes out

from the engine bay, unplug the electric plug from the bulb, then take out the black rubber seal, and the bulb comes out easily.

on left side of ek1, you'll need to remove the power-steering bottle to make some room.

that bottle slides up and u can unclip the hose (bottom of it) to make it easier

is there a way to take out the power steering cause sliding it up...its still in the way T_T

I seriously didn't know you could slide the power steering bottle up and away... I use to jam my hand in use my free hand to pass the bulb to my wedged-in hand then change it that way... shoulda seen all the cuts and missing skin... LoL

ditto! i actually dislocated a finger or two when i got stuck and tried to force my hand out. lol@me... yes

did u also unclip the rubber hose underneath? gives more room for ur hand to go in

yeh...the whole process sounds easy.
