b18cr in a eg

i've got a b18cr in an eg atm i have a 2 1/4 exhuast atm, but it feel like theres a lot of lag in when i put my foot down, i was just wondering if anyone else with a eg with a b18cr just wondering what size exhaust you guys have?

you would probably find if you go from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 exhaust diameter that it won't help down low power at all as you are actually losing backpressure....it will help high range power though.
our cars are always crap down low, theres no escaping that, its becasue of the design of the engine - short conrods (and therefore a short piston stroke) = huge rpm but pissweak torque - best way to get alright down low acceleration out of our cars is to shorten the final drive in the gearbox.....then ofcourse theres the normal mods - good header and resonator/muffler, good intake, cams, tune
