if u did this about 2 months ago, id have said get a kit from the states like i did :p but our dollar has dropped alot now so thats not really a great option. Im sure there are many shops that could make you up a custom kit, and u could just buy the manifold etc from the states?
not too sure what companies in oz make kits for the K series tho

not to concerned about the dollar. yer its not the greatest but there kits are proven geting one made up for a k series here really isnt an option for me/ no one over here plays with the kseries much its usually the nissans/subies. would rather pay that little bit more and get a kit from the states. what kit did you end up gettinG and hows it working for you?

if you're not worried about the currency, you should try look at one of these kits

with your kit are you doing a direct bolt on and running low psi? or have you got a built motor?

We've tuned both Full Race & the Greddy kits...
Full Race wins hands down...
With the right kit, you'll see 230kw @ wheels (7~8psi) & retain a level of reliability.
PM Bartek, he's got one.

it's the same old story, you get what you pay for. full race is top of the line when it comes to turbo kits, but it also has a price tag that matches.

As for AC and PS, it shouldn't be a problem in DC5R's.

you gonna run stock internals ?

yer was looking at direct bolt on. stock internals, 3inch full exhaust and kpro. yes i know should do intake /throttle but it is starting to get really expensive for a daily. so just trying to see whats out there before i commit to buying.

barefoot's right. it depends on your budget. if you tell us how much you have to spend, maybe people can give you more direct recommendations/opinions.

speak with the person who is going to build the turbo for you and make sure you go to a place that has boosted hondas before.

I got mine done at performance exhaust & tuned by toda.
Bolt on kits are good but you need more experience when coming into issues.
You can buy what you want and then take it to a shop to get fabed, and find out that its gonna cost you more cos the parts don't fit etc.... been there done that.

Speak to the shop first and bring yoru car in, explain to them how much power & what you want the kit to do and get an estimate on price.

I've seen quite a few people do well on kits and quite a few who got burnt on them also

It is a bolt on kit, and i will be running 9psi i think.
B series motors can take 10psi safley, any more and the reliability is unknown. Ive heard of a few ppl on Honda-Tech running up to 15psi and having no problems
