hi guys my cousins dc2 front drivers side studs have been rethreaded. some bodgy workshop forced nuts onto it..
is it possible to change the studs alone so he can bolt hes wheel back on or does he have to buy the complete setup for that side?

yup that
It is possible to hammer out or use a tool to slowly press each one out. There is sufficient space to push thru.

u cant press it out, theres not enough room to wiggle it. U need to press the hub out from the trailing arms using a press.
While your at it, you should change the wheel bearings too, and its also an opportunity to go for extended studs.

you could pick up the studs from wreckers, or go for new arp extended studs and get some open ended nuts.
Its easy to damage the bearings if you diy, if your not confident then probably leave it to a workshop. theres also another method taking the hub off the trail arm using a slide hammer if you decide to diy.
If you diy, make sure you clean off the inner bearing race on the hub, since it may have gotten crap stuck to it while changing the studs. Also check the bearings in the spindle to make sure they are all seated right, and there is nothing on them and they are greased with bearing lube if you decide to change the bearings. You dont have to change bearings but u might as well while everything is apart.
