ringing noise from engine

hi guy,

i was just wondering if u guys can help me fix me ringing noise coming from the engine, it started a couple of nights ago when i used my air con, it sounds like a steel ball in a bowl going around circles hope it not major :(... dont know if it my air con needs gas? but it happened again 2nite when i was driving home and i diddnt turn on the air con either ?

at about 20% throttle in just about any gear i get a ringing noise which doesn't seem to affect anything
go for a drive and see if it's a certain throttle position
could be just the intake or something

could be bearings worn out in bottom end... thats what some mechanics told me

nah big end bearings shot is more like a tapping than a ringing

is the engine pinging? but yeah A/C clutches sound like a real bad bearing noise my civic is doing it. i just gotta put the new compressor on. ive just been too lazy lol

thx for the replys guys. yea my clutch does make a funny noises when i change gears, but it make the noises when my car stops a the lights and it sounds fcuked, the guy did say that i might need to regas the air con when i brought as i dont wont to spend any money on the car as im doing a b18cr swap next year :)) cant wait...bloodly wedding
