OEM DC2R front strut brace

i will be installing one soon in my car, what i need to know if i need to have washers just under the chassis (the part you cant see, under the car). i was thinking if this would decrease the chances of the nuts coming loose over time? hope the first part makes sense.

i didn't use washers when i put mine on...after about 2 weeks, i checked the bolts/nuts again, still going very strong...just make sure u use bolts with larger heads if u're not really certain...

maybe get a set of high tensile bolts & nuts off bunnings...i used those for my strut brace, and some other places, never had any problems...

well the oem nuts came with welded on washers on the nuts. buts should b ok without it.
just make sure get the high tensil and the right size. 8x16mm

^^^ awsome dude, really helped me alot. but in one of your replies you say to get washers?:confused: but i do have nuts that have washers on them, but what i wanted to know is if i should also get washers for the bolts?
