hey guys wiring up a boost gauge at the moment...just wondering what the best vacuum hose is to 'tap' into. ive been told the hose next to the map sensor on the TB is best? any input? cheers

I have my boost gauge pumbed in to the vacum line going to the FPR.

thats where i had mine

but all vacuum that go to the manifold should be the same right?

Yes exactly. It does not mater where you plumb in. Its all at the same pressure (sealed). Do whatever is convenient.

ok thanks :) i will have a bit of a test at different places to see if any are slightly more accurate.

how are you going to do that?
how do u know what is the most 'accurate'?

well assuming my turbo is tuned for 5psi, whichever point shows up closes to 5psi on the boost gauge when boosting wins

lol
i dont think it works like that...

different conditions can cause the boost to creep a abit

my car never use to always hit peak boost...
i had my boost controller and turbo timer beep at peak and it didnt always beep... i think colder nights it did and hot days it lagged abit
