d)could be the fuel?
e)could just be running rich mine only gets around 450 its running a little sick atm
but ultimately u should b happy with that from a lil sohc...

I have a VTI and I get around 500ks from a tank but it really depends on how you drive, driving conditions and fuel type

should be better than that. i keep my si eg hatch in good tune and use premium and get 550+ easy normal daily driving. most i've done was 590 and the light still never came on but wasn't game to see how much further i could get. 450 seems low unless you are lead foot. you driving affects it greatly. at least do a ecu reset. search it. failing that new plugs, leads, clean your points, have your timing checked and clean your injectors.

it all depends on the drivers foot...lol..man your lucky i go through a tank every three days

check plugs
check air filter
check fuel filter
check throttle body for black carbon residue
all of this adds up to fuel consumption and then last but not least sen it to a TUNER to tune for kilometers and not power...

i use mine (vti) everyday for my job which is repping.. so i drive ALOT!
i get (using 98) 582kms per tank.. approx.. give or take a bit of lead footing..
if i use the normal premium, it is about 520kms roughly..

PS.. only real mods is exhaust and air filter.. standard everything else
