Hey, currently in the market for purchasing coilovers for my EG, they all are being taken off a ITR but will be including rear lcas and all. But i need help choosing which of the following coilovers are better to buy:

Tanabes
Tein Type HAs
CST(circuit spec tune) zero-01

The tanabes are cheaper by $100 as opposed to the other two. Which one do you guys rekon i should get? for a 16yo kid btw.

thanks:)

Zeals would be nice, but as above, they are pretty expensive. Also, getting a loan for car parts is just stupid. If you have to get a loan, you cant afford the parts. Simple.

Also, i have always been hesitant about getting second hand coils. You have no idea about their history. Get new ones of you can. The teins will be one of your options.

Yeah, teins HA is one of your best option among the three.

^^ true that. I duno, i cant really spend HEAPS for the new coil overs, which are some good branded coils for an alright price? are HSDs good?

I have a second hand set of HSDs that require a rebuild. If you can find a place to rebuild them I would be willing to sell you them for a reasonable price(that is if you are interested of course.). Both rear shocks are seized but the fronts work fine(but need the damper adjustment reset) and felt good IMO but they were my first set of coilovers. I have not driven on them much, only to my mechanic and then home.

What kind of budget do you have?

go to import wreckers that have hondas, got get some second hand coils from there, and rebuild them if need be, way cheaper than buying 2 grand coils.
