Hid bulb question.

Recently got HID kit on my car..
the beam is so strong that i get flashed so much during driving..
its annoying and i cant enjoy a trip..

not sure if its just the positioning or the strength of the beam..
but im wondering... if i can just change the bulb..
or do i have to get a new kit ( balasta ) as well...?

u just need to lower the projection if using HIDs...did that to mine, much less flashing from oncoming traffic...

more than likly its the set up as hid tend to be a lot brighter ..
q:- are the hid bulbs in a hid h/light or are your h/lights standard

if your h/lights are standard this is why (being flashed) due to the light being projected up to high and not filtered as it would be in a hid h/light
( blinding other drivers/oncomming)

if it just settings your after to fix the problem let me know and ill give you specs to set up your light for legal spec

I thought you should be able to adjust the projection of the headlights? Adjust the projection of the light lower so that it won't glare anyone.

Just my bulbs are HID.. still using the stock headlights..
on a dc5 btw..
its really annoying to get flashed all the time..
thats probably the case then..
its not being filtered properly..
what can i do?
am i able to just change the bulb to a lower wat?
mabe it will have less glare?

hid bulb change wont do it you might try readjusting your head light due to hid having a higher pitch from the globe filiment
