anyone has service manual for d16y4 engine?

stuff floating around the net (usdm n stuff) are d16y5-y6-y7-y8 :eek: wheres y4??

apart from small differences to fuel injector wiring and dizzy, the Y4 engine is pretty close to the other non-vtec d16y's.

Y4 is Oz only, so it probably doesn't justify a new manual.

and why they call it ej there? how come the all the manuals doesnt say ek? shiet is confusing.

ej = coupe with d series
em = coupe with b series
ek = hatches and sedans

well i'm pretty sure thats how it goes anyway

D16Y4 is audm only no other country has it

ive got the same motor d16y4EK1and ive been told same motor as d16y7 usdm
ek-eg d16y4 same motor ive got a mates car EG and only diff is inlet is bigger and longer runners & diff dizzy on EK model


but i have manuals on there way (snail mail ) should be able to let you know in a couple of days if you need anything ...just pm

Hey guys.
Would i be able to get a copy aswell?? i need to redo my engine bay cause i brought a civic and its bullshit job. its a 92 civic hatch and this guy has dropped a d16y4 into it and put 4x motorbike carby`s running into them..
I need to redo the bay and put all this bullshit back to stock ^_^

Help would be awesome with this manual.. its doesnt have to be on the y4 but anything else enough to the d16y4 would do the job..

i was going to suggest searching d16z8? thought that is the same engine but coded with USDM hondas. correct me if im wrong. but the link you posted is awsome.

i just conducted a mini-me swap with a y4. It is the same as a y7. The only difference between a y4 and the y7 is the intake! hope this helps.

well.. i was over whelmed at the amount of work i need to do just to put my car back to EFI stock.. i cant do it myself anyway.. i gotta pay some one.. but with the limited amount of cash i have.. no one will help me.. so im pretty screwed LOL!
