i'm getting conflicting info on this.

can someone who knows for certain clarify/confirm?

to do a 5 lug conversion onto an em1, the following are required from a dc2r

front:
hub
knuckle
rotor
caliper
pad
driveshaft
cv
upper control arm
lower control arm

rear:
hub
knuckle
rotor
caliper
pad
upper control arm
lower control arm

and also
is cv from aus itr 32 mm or 36mm?

thanks in advance

36mm
lower control arms wont fit
better to just get ek9 5 lug

you dont NEED the upper and lower control arms....just use your existing upper and lower and the EK9 or DC2R parts will fit.

you dont need the driveshaft and cv joints if its from au dc2r or ek9?

or even the control arms for that matter

u can use your driveshaft that u have on the car now unless u bought a jdm 98 spec dc2r 5 lug coz they run 36mm. lower and upper arm wont fit
aus spec is 32mm
jdm 98 spec is 36mm

so really all i need is:

for the front and rear
hub, knuckle, rotor, caliper, pad??

no need for driveshaft
no need for cv
no need for upper and lower control arms?

whats the offset for my current em1 wheels? and what offset would you recommend if i go ahead with the conversion?

cv.. no
upper and lower control arms... no.
Yes you can use ur existing drive shafts, unless stated that ur conversion kit is from jdm 98 spec itr. so go measure it.

any offset is fine. from +35 to +45 offset no rubbing. ur stock wheels atm are +45 offset.

ek9 ctr/dc2r aus 5 lug = 32mm
just make sure you have:
- front knuckle/hub/disc/caliper/pads
- rear trailing arm/hub/disc/caliper/pads

cvs/upper and lower lca from your car can still be used.

while you at it, might aswell upgrade your mc/bb to ctr/itr also

no ek9 is 32mm cv's
aus dc2r is 36mm cv's so u will need to get 36mm drive shafts too for the conversion

don't you mean only for the JDM 98 dc2r?

i tend to agree with kiet/jdm type r here..

i got au 5lug going on this wednesday.. go no shafts or cv's..

and can pretty much be sure that i dont need the dc2r cv's or driveshafts to go onto my ek4.

going to be using my existing ones.

bro dont worry about the cv or driveshafts IF YOU ARE GETTING THE 5 LUG from an EK9 OR AUSSIE SPEC DC2R.

just take the hubs n all.. more detail pm sent

mine are all on already.. there was no need for driveshafts or cv's n shit
