Hi Guys

Just looking at some second hand wheels that I want to paint up :p . Any problems with 35 offset? How much further will they stick out compared to the factory alloys that are 42?

Cheers!

It depends how wide they are to start with. You may have to massage the guards, but that depends on how much you have / want to lower it. You should be fine.

hey, i wouldnt screw with the offset of the wheels, ive heard rumors of people getting in crashes and not getting insurance money because they were running wheels with the wrong offset. im not sure of the circumstances tho

as long as the wheels stay inside your guards or flares, no problem. (following a +1 or +2 legal rim of course)

Thanks guys. I've passed on the wheels, they had a wierd stud pattern. 4x114.3 and 5x114.3. Although they were factory drilled, the holes were too close for my liking, they would have looked a bit off as they have no centre caps.

7mm difference should have been sweet.

I'll keep looking for a set of project wheels to paint/powder coat. :)
