Antenna won't go down

Hi all, just bought my EK1 and I'm having trouble getting the antenna down. Had a look at a mates EK and his antenna goes all the way down fine, where as mine sticks out a good 30 cm or so. Did a search and found a thread where it says to take the thin metal pipe out to push it down, but that's it. Anyone have more info on how to do so and any pics and as much directions as possible. I'm able to take the black part where the antenna is, but other than that, i don't know what to do and don't wanna break anything.

stop putting viagra in teh fuel tank, give it 24 hours, and itll go down. alternatively, play with it for a little to make it go down sooner....

well if its a manual anetenna it might have stiffend up over time,
a lil rust maybe some dirt.

try giving it a little clean with some lub.

do u ever want to be able to put the antenna up again? if not, just bash it down with a hammer

undo the fitting that is bolted to the ccar

spray a shit load of wd 40 all around...
