recently changed my civic vtir springs to some second hand $100 lovells springs which were lowered prolly 2 inches.

the ride now rolls less when turning (expected since it is lowered)

but there is probably more bounce when going over bumps and roads...

like if i was on a flat road..i never felt any bumps, now i feel like im bouncing on every single thing on the road.

is this because the springs are too soft or are they too hard??

when i use to go over bumps on the stock springs i could feel the cabin shake on the shock....now its sorrta like a bounce over the bumps...is this cause its shorter springs or are they just shit?

Sounds like your springs have softened up and are saggy. Also now that the rate of your springs doesnt match that to the stock shocks is a problem, Best solution would be to upgrade both springs and shocks, problem solved.

if your shocks are still good then it might be your springs thats causing the problem
you did say they where second hand but like what ppl said b4
change the both and problem solved better to have both after market newayz

normally when you change one you should change the other.. its not becasue of the spring or the shock.. they will both work fine when they are fitted with the correct thing... stock shocks are designed for stock springs..

pedder's sports springs had a really good review a few years back,
but from memory they arent justifiable in cost.

dude i think its just coause they are lower that u can feel the bumps more, obviosuly ur gonna feel more bumps when u put lower springs, i put new springs on mine and it feels heaps different too (3.5 inches at front and 4.25 inches at rear)

when they were ony my car they were fine....well i thought so neways....

Stock shocks won't work right with stiffer than stock springs even if the shocks are still good. The damper rates simply don't match the spring rates. I would look into replacing your shocks next.

By the way: you will always feel more bumps with stiffer springs, but it should never be "bouncey".

Sounds like you are bottoming out as well, I think most of the problem is you are too low and there is no shock travel.

have u cut ur bump stop?

cut it a bit and u will have more travel
