Hi All,

I have a 1991 DA9 Integra with a B16A, complete with the JDM wiring looms, and I believe, a OBD1 ECU, can anyone tell me where the plug is that needs to be sorted so that I can check/adjust the timing? it's never been done since my conversion, and I just want to check.

Thanks

Tseesinn

tseesin what timing are u talking about??? ignition??? or cam? both of these can be done with either the timing marks on the pulleys or with the dizzy and a timing light....

the only timing controlled by the ecu is ignition timing... and the advance for the ignition..

but the plugs r under the glove box.

the ecu is under the carpet on the same side.

i have replied on dedicated thread aswell

find the 2 pin blue SCS connector and bridge it, when you have bridged it the engine light wil come on and stay on. if you have fault codes in memory the codes will flash

then set your timing with a warm engine

Thanks A-Man and ECU-Man, I was not sure if it was the same plug to short for reading codes so from what I have read it should be set to 16deg advanced when warm?

Cheers, Tseesinn

yes to stop the ecu for making trim changes to ignition
