I'm looking for a sport car with a good  engine (of course i dont mind a turbo! :p). What i have in mind so far are Integra type R or type S and S15 :o. I'm after fuel efficient too. So any of you guyz have any recommendation on these 2 or any other car, please recommend and advise the estimate cost for it would be great. Cheerz

if i were u id prolly get a Type R, more sporty then a type S and more fuel efficent then a s15, u could only get a dc2r for that price but to be honest most people think they are better anyways

17k... and your looking at those cars... your borrowing like +5k on top of the 17k right... because you aren't going to be getting into any of those cars at that price.

I agree. For a Type R, add a few more thousand. For a Type S, add about an extra $10 - $13K. And an S15, you might be lucky, but it'll be high kms.

you need at least 19K for a decent DC2R, forget the Type S unless you want something more subtle. good luck dude!

I'd say buy the S15.
But each to their own.

Personal preference plays a big part as does your wallet, look at prices on carsales or whatnot in reference to DC2s and DC5s, thats gunna give you a good idea on the figures most people want on average. Then set yourself a realistic budget, taking into account all your insurance, rego transferral etc (so give yourself a couple of $K buffer for those unwanted expenditures).
Everyone knows DC2s and DC5s are fuel efficient under VTEC (up to +/-5000rpm for everyday driving) so if you're after efficiency, they will give you what you want (untill u play around the business end of the tacho).
Above all, do your research, KNOW what you are buying. Go thru all the messin around, do compression tests, make sure its a healthy engine, research parts etc. Who knows, in time you might find exactly what you want. Good luck:)

Thanks guyz. i know Integra type R and S is a lot to ask for $17k. I am willing to spend up to $25k actually (or $30k without having do up anything else)...
