Any suggestions are appreciated

the best way to prevent something from getting stolen . . . is move to a different area with a lower crime rate.

NOTHING will stop parts or cars getting stolen , all you can do is reduce the CHANCE :)

it happens.

an old member off this forum once gloated that he stole a front lip off a del sol one night.
Went out with a 10mm socket and ratchet and laid under the car outside some poor persons house. If that was YOU pm me i know who it was lol

could always drill extra holes and throw on a shitload of zip ties + sikaflex?

heaps of brackets under things, many screws, sikaflex the top edges, drill the top of the lip onto the bar (not many people I know do, but damn well should) that's about all, the zip ties is also good. :) reminds me of my AE86 lol

different shaped head screws or make n screw bracket into front bar so if they try and rip the lip off theyll get the bar too - (not that i want them to demolish ur front end. just becareful i guess... btw is ur display name ur number plate aswell?

lay out razor wire under your bumper... if they stick they're hands under there, then you'll hear them scream! :)

lol, that's my kind of security ^^^

good thing the mass number of large dogs in my neighbourhood tell me who is around at least 10 will bark when people go past the homestead, move to a neighbourhood with dogs :)

or save 500k and instead of buying new house in a different suburb just buy yourself a dog. and tie the dog to ur car...

or.... an alarm with the shake sensors?

How about a garage.
Or not having a lip at all.
Or only put it on when you go driving.
Haha

since when have garages stopped thieves, not all thefts happen when parked on the street

lol, I got a mate with a carbon lip who does that from time to time

maybe use double sided tape and stick it on as well as screwing it on to your car

button head torque screws are good, as well as one way screws. make it very difficult to get ahold of whatever you're screwing in.

try http://www.covfast.com.au/coventry/, they have a place in wetherill park and alexandria. good luck

You might save your lip but not the roid rage when they smash all your windows!

I wouldn't reinforce the lip with additional screws/pop rivets to the bar - Could end up cracking the lip, or better yet, getting your whole bar stolen.

I heart the SSS

AHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH

I can't contain dlulz.

But do 2 on each side, and about 4/5 on the bottom, and as said before, use phillips and flat head self tapping screws.

Or lower your car that much they cannot get a screwdriver head flat into the screw ;)

get air runners so when your not driving your car dump it to the ground.

jus put sikaflex as vinny said.. dun nid weird screws..lol.. It may just be bad luck that some1 stolen ur lip, might not happen again.. sikaflex should prevent any1 from taking it out easily without proper tools n sikaflx removal.. but if its tat hard to take out.. no1 would bother..

Here's something no one has yet to mention. One-way screws.
