Not exactly sure where to post this thread... Anyways...

A couple months ago my original battery died, was a YUASA battery... so i had it replaced with a Century one.

Was wondering what brand the orginal Civic EK (Aus delivered) battery is???
And if you had it replaced for wot ever reason (dead batt, sound system upgrade), wot did u replace it with??? Original or aftermarket??? Also, how important is a good battery to the electrical system of the car?

I'm asking cos i dunno if i should try to source the battery my car originally came with (or the EK one) or will the Century do the exact same job, no hiccups??

as long as it hold voltage and charges right there shouldnt be any problems.

oem = panasonic

odessy has related problem such as it doen't not hold their charge v.well. esp if you don;t drive your car that much. One other biggest issue with odessy is the after-sale claim as in replacement under warranty.

other than that its light and pricy

i'll recommend you a better one, pm vinh ;)

i have a powercel fully sealed battery made by powerdive.com in my eg. fits nicely in the factory spot, not sure if its the same for ek. have had absolutley no problems with it thus far. picked it up from my local car audio shop.
