2 lt mugen engine ????

has ne1 seen the august issue of hot4's wit the yellow crx on the cover plates [EXCON.1] ?
he claims to have a custom built 2lt mugen engine ???
i dont think ive ever heard of such a thing and wanna knoe if there is ?
or is it just ne doch wit a mugen cover ? coz the engine bay looks kinda stockie to me

hes got mugen internals and a mugen cam cover. i think they also built it for him. not totally sure tho

2L mugen engine exists - it is not something that you can buy from a shop however.

i doubt that his actually is a full block... looking at over $10K delivered.

Exactly. I hardly think a "2L mugen engine" is going to be using the stock intake pipes! :p

From what ive heard, Hot4s love to make up internals because, they can never be proved... having that said its still a possibillty but Im leaning heavily towards the bullshit factor..

Even the valve conver looks kinda dodgy, id expect more from mugen =)

If u want to hear a real mugen engine let me know, Ill burrow one of those sound things to record it when its on the engine dyno.

just to let you guys know, the mugen engine is a b20a engine from the old 3rd gen prelude non vtec. They are used in super tourers, but the new thought is that they may use a h22a destroked to stay within the 2 litre regulation.
