yeah everyone put up a ballpark day which they would think they would be able to make it then well pick a day so that everyone can make it DA meet the more the merrier :P

lol, i would go to a sydney meet.. but not many left in sydney :) if you cbf to organise i'll come.. just after 6pm on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. and no mondays :)

i've chucked up a poll you can choose both if you can make both but for which ever there is more on that will be the day of the meet. The next step is to find an actual date for the meet

yeh..stkilda should be good, as it has many carparks along the beach..arvo would be good cause during the day will be to hot for us. maybe a sunday cause not many people would be doing things then.

Come on there has to be more than a few of us that wants a DA only photoshoot thats in melbourne.
How many of you DA owners in Melbourne want to go to a Photoshoot? and not just talk like in previous years with LO n SXC's meets
Melbournes got a lack of Meets plus a lack of DA9's showing their stuff

LOL funny thing was that it actually happened, there was quite a few tegs and then we ran a second one that saw even more DA9s.

not all talk mate......

but good on ya on trying to bring the DA9 community together, I know that if I still had my Teg I'd also come along.

yeah i know they happend i saw the photos from your meets back in the day thats why i want to make one it looked sick all DA tegs etc

and yeah you still had one of the cleanest sexiest DA's out but sad to hear that it was in a crash once you sold it off

Yeah those were the days lol

we had a good mix of stock all the way to track spec DA9s that day, was real fun going up to Arthur's seat and have a bit of a photo shoot.

I miss that car and I'm actually trying to find it, I was told by many ppl thay had seen it and that was after I got told by the guy who I sold it to that it was in a crash, so maybe the new owner crashed it and got it back on the road?

Thanks man it was a real nice car, and if I was to do it all again I sure would but atm I have an on going project.

Maybe once that's finished; buy another DA9?

There is the usual spots where the cops always hang but the station pier; I think that's what it's called is where we did the very last one, the spirit of tassie docks there and has a nice car park if not, maybe we could all meet up further down near the Marina where the BP petrol station is.

The date sounds good but maybe would have paid off giving ppl a bit more notice, but I'm down with that date.

have you guys chose a route? We have an idea to where we're all meeting up but where are we going?

well it is about a week and a half away and not many ppl have said they're coming so yeah pretty early, some ppl might be getting work done on their cars and sh*t but I'm ready to when you are.

Ok i have found a few places along the beach...elwood to where the spirit of tasmania is (port melbourne), here are a few pics for you guys to have a look!

ok first is a mariner next to a petrol station, there are a few carparks there we can all meet up at with plenty of splace:

second is stkilda a nice spot away from the main road and all the traffic basically on the beach which is the place i recon we should meet cause its nice cause itll be quite:

Yeah st Kilda is not too bad but that will be pretty full also, I've been there for a nice breakfast with the missus on a sunday morning and we found it hard to look for parking, I reckon the Mariner woudl be a better option and ppl can quickly go and get some Petrol for the drive down to whereever we're going?

well the thing is with the spot on the map i showed in st kilda is away from the traffic it shouldnt be to full cause ive been there a few times. I guess we could go there them if its full have a mini cruise to the mariner one ? I recon the cruise should be along beach road as its a nice cruising road along the beach ?

That's a good idea!

I went to a cruise once and they met up on the pit straight, I think there's a few car spaces on there so yeah that would be sweet!

friday and saturday are much more sunnier than sunday

Friday Fine. Min 11 Max 27
Saturday Fine. Min 14 Max 30
Sunday Shower or two. Min 15 Max 22

so what do you guys reckon for the better day on sunday 25th just make it 5,6 or 7 pm meet/photo then cruise to wherever we decide? im creating the base cruise event notice but ill wait for confirmation about everything

lol shh:P yeh ok saturday sounds fine...how lates late? cause i think im going somewhere that night thats why sunday was cool... like 4 or so... the only reaso i didnt wont to go in the heat is that the air con needs re-gassing lol...ill get that done in the next couple of days though!
