i wanna know how heavy my eg is..
here (http://www.internetautoguide.com/car-specifications/99-int/1995/honda/civic/dx-hatchback/597/index.html) it says curb weight is 988kgs. seems too light
is '95 eg (dx trim) equal to gli?
whats gross vehicle weight rating?
thanks
theres a place in rowville called "traction & tyres" they do corner weights.

go to any local rubbish tip. Drive onto the main gate and ask how much your car weighs. Minus your weight and thats how much it weighs

Local Dragstrip ? My one does. Alternatively visit the Honda(aus) website as they have all the details for the cars on there.

I weighed mine at the Clayton dump when I went to dispose my used engine oil, I asked the lady there if I could get her to weigh the car and she was very friendly and helpful as well..... Took only like 2 seconds LOL!
if you are in sydney , you can do it at WSID Eastern creek

yup probably best to go for a reason - if you turn up with nothing but a smartie attitude and demand they give your weight they can tell you to GTFO
just take 1 container of old oil or something its all good.

You dont have to say anything.
Generally at a tip there is an 'in' weigh bridge and an 'out' weigh bridge. The weight comes up on a big LCD display somewhere in front of you where you can see it. Just get your weight from the 'out' bridge, and minus the weight of the passengers. At least that's what i did
