Opinion on this DC5 .... =P

Hi Guys,

I am heading to Gold Coast this long weekend and I will inspect this DC5:

Its red... a guy called Ken owns it... Photo's where taken at Calamvale (Which is closer to Brisbane then Gold Coast)... also has low K's.

I'm guessing you've spoken to the guy... has it got any mods... ALSO... there was a really low K red DC5R being sold around that area about 6 months ago... is this the same car?

Hi 45SET, thank you for the information. Actually I just spot this car 1 hour ago on carsaels. Haven't got chance speaking to the owner yet. I think I will ring him tomorrow. You mean the guy just owned the car for 6 months? If its true then its bit dodge.. =)

oh ok... best bet would be to speak to the owner, and find out some info... do the normal checks on the car... and then check it out yourself.

I'm not sure if its the same car, but i'm just saying that there was a low K red DC5R for sale about 6 months ago that was close to stock.

K's aren't that low to treat it as suspect. Mine has 59kms on it.

I believe this car has already been sold, 2 mates of a friend of mine came down from Innesvale and bought it (I am pretty certain it was this exact car but I will have to double check.)

It's quite cheap! i've seen DC2R's go for that much! nice! but yeh cheap cars always make you think theres something up with them

It's not cheap at all. The average DC2 is worth around $17-19k. Vincikwan struggled for months to sell his mint CW DC2 with good mods for $20k. I think he's finally sold it just under $20k now.

I wouldn't spend anymore than $24k on a stock DC5 now. It would have to be an excellent example to even think twice at any more than that.
