Lookin for someone who can mod a sub box- i have a box 12" cut out but its meant for standard 12" subs i have a shallow mount competition sub so box needs resizing before i go and waste money at a sound insallation shop just wanting to swee if anyone can do it ? or has done it and willing to do it again ill pay $$$

if you're willing to pay money then you might as well get a specialist to do it anyway...
also you didnt really point it out, but what size is your sub?? shouldnt matter if its shallow mount or not too

its a 12" sub sorry, the shallow moutn sub for mb quart the cone doesnt go str8 in like avg subs like hard to explain but its only off by 5mm

i think i know what you mean. the magnet or basket is too wide to slot in, right??
if thats the case then your gonna have to enlarge the hole with a router, and make a mdf ring. so cone screws into that ring, that ring screws into the subbox, basket/magnet fits thru.. dunno if you can picture what im saying.
could you post a pic of your sub??

yea like a spacer for my splits in my front doors know wat u mean ii thought about that then i ditched it atleast i know that can b done ill take it on the weekend see if local car audio can do it

got it soughted my frienda t strathfield caar had template and reszied for me sounds awsum looks neat... thanks for the help evryone!
